Understanding multiplication

Reflection
We are learning about multiplication we learnt about using repeated addition to solve multiplication for example we know that   5x2  is the same 2+2+2+2+2=10.

Making a Word Plan

Reflection

I was learning to make a word plan. 

I know that a word plan has a topic and 3 or 4 ideas. I learnt that I can use a word plan to help me with my writing.

This is easy for me because I know the steps.

Blends and digraphs

I was learning about digraphs and blends. I know that digraphs have 2 letters that make 1 sound. I learnt that blends have 2 letters that make 2 sounds.

I was learning to find the root and suffix in a word.  I have learnt that the root is the first part of the word but the suffix is the part we stick at the end like 'ing'.  It was tricky because there are lots of suffixes.

Statistical investigation

I have been learning about statistics.  I made bar graphs, pictographs, a pie graph and tally charts.  
We know about the steps for statistics.

Reflection

We are learning about beginning blends in words. I know blends have 2 sounds like tr, st. This is tricky because it is hard to hear sounds.
